Bowman
1992-93 Bowman #154
This will be a short one.
The 1992-93 Bowman set contains 442 cards. Reportedly, only 2000 16-box cases exist. One gold-foil was in each 15 card pack. There are several non-glossy Eric Lindros cards on the market. Beckett said that these are unauthorized releases! Love the back design though, with a breakdown of all the points sorted by teams.

In 1992-93, O-Pee-Chee hit a milestone by producing cards for 25 consecutive years. To commemorate this mark, the 396 card set includes 25 special 25th Anniversary tribute cards. Also, OPC printed 12 000 Special Anniversary Collector sets which included the base set plus the tribute cards.
For this set, they use never-seen before pictures. 1968-69 was the first year OPC hit the market.

O-Pee-Chee Premier
1992-93 O-Pee-Chee Premier Star Performers #10
Strangely, Bure didn't appear in the base set of the 1992-93 O-Pee-Chee Premier. But, he is in the Star Performers set. The 22 card set was randomly inserted in the foil packs. "Randomly" is an understatement, because the insertion rate was 8 out of 9 packs!

1992-93 Parkhurst Arena Tour Sheet #4
|
Consisting of 480 cards, plus a 30 cards update set, Parkhurst produced four Bure cards. Along with his regular base, he has a "Sensational Sophomore", an All-Stars, and a Stanley Cup Playoff card in the update series.
We can maybe grant Parkhurst the first "color parallel" series with its Emerald Ice. The update was difficult for me to obtain. I was aware of this one quite later when I wrote my entire checklist.
Also, Parkhurst produces an Arena tour sheet. It was numbered to 22 000 sets and featured all the members of a Canadian team.

1992-93 Pinnacle French Promo Sheet #1
|
Pinnacle was, in some sort, a fun set, simply because the English and French versions have a different picture to differentiate them. Same thing for the inserts. A promo sheet was also in circulation. The sheet was intended, per Beckett, to remain uncut, that's why the inscription "Not for resale - For promotional use only" was printed in the back.
Like I said earlier, this was the first time that real inserts were produced. I don't know if chronologically, Pinnacle was the first one to accomplish that, but alphabetically, yes. So I assumed that the company was the first to dive into the world of inserts.
The first one Bure featured on is the Team 2000. At a rate of two per 27 cards super pack (!), the brand predicts the stars of the 2000s. The variation with the English and French version was identical to the base card, which is a different photo. For Bure, it was easy because one is in his home sweater, the other in his home jersey. Furthermore, the Canadian version has a maple leaf after de Team 2000.
The second one, Team Pinnacle, inserted at a rate of 1 per 125 packs, features pictures by the Score artist Christopher Greco, with a player from the Western Conference on one side, and the Eastern Conference on the other. You have to look at the color to differentiate them (Turquoise for the US version and pink for the Canadian).

1992-93 Pro Set Gold Team Leader #13

1992-93 Pro Set Rookie Goal Leader #2
|
The production of this 270 cards set was 8000 20-box cases and 2000 jumbo cases. Kirk McLean signed 1000 cards in this series. Rumors says that a second set was in the air but never printed. Bure, along with his base card, had three inserts: the Award Winner, the Gold Team leader, inserted at one per jumbo pack, and the Rookie Goal Leader. They are pretty straightforward sets, so there is not much more to say.

Like many of the brands, Score has an American and a Canadian bilingual set for his 1992-93 series. The first one has a white border, the other one is blue. The Russian Rocket appeared three times (base, Dream Team, and Award Winner).
He also featured in the 5x7 promotional sheets, the American and Canadian versions. By the way, the American version has Bure placed in three different positions, alongside different players as well. The "For promotional purposes only" and "Not for resale" is printed on the back.
As for the Young Superstar subset, the 40 cards set showcase of the next superstars in the league. It also has a rink report.

Nothing special to say about this 501 set, except that The Sporting News Skills Rating System is a cool feature alongside stats and bio. There is on the back the first Topps card of the player, which is also a nice feature. Bure had two cards: the Members Choice and a regular base. Future Steven here : I know it's not ultra spectacular, but I just found out that two different letters were near the copyright of the card for both of them. #246 is either E or F, while #489 is A or B.

Upper Deck closes the year 1992-93 with its massive 640 card set. The SP2 that Pavel is on was inserted in first series foil and jumbo packs. Besides the three base cards (and the short print), he is in the Euro-Rookie Team, Euro-Stars, and World juniors Grad insert sets. Future Steven here : like previous years, upper deck has two types of hologram to separate the years. So, the UD hologram is for cards printed in 1992, while the UD hologram plus the text if for cards printed in 1993.
Oh, I almost forgot! There is also a Locker All-Stars insert. They were issued during the All-Stars weekend in a plastic locker box. Personally signed Gordie Howe cards were inserted at a rate of one per 120 boxes. Thanks for the info Mastermind (icollectpkariya on Twitter) for the info!
