1992-93 American Monthly Cards #1
1992-93 American Monthly #2
I haven't found any info for this one. I can only say that it's a multisports set, numbered to 10 000.

1992-93 Ballstreet #11
1992-93 Ballstreet #11
Like the American Monthly, I know nothing about the Ballstreet, except that it's a basketball magazine. I like the short checklist of some of the licensed Bure cards on the market.

Canucks Road Trip Art

1992-93 Canucks Road Trip Art #4
This one makes me laugh! These 5x7 portraits were available only at Subway and Payless. Each week for six weeks, a set of four players was released at a price od 2,29$ per pack. You have a chance to win season tickets for the 1993-94 season. The text is even more hilarious than the picture of him in a western garb!

Like many others, I know little information about this card. All I know is the artwork was created by an artist named John. It depicted the city of Vancouver in the background. The back is blank. The set had also Wayne Gretzky, Bob Probert, and Sergeï Fedorov.

Classic hit hard with his 1992-93 Gold Set. They put it in a superb walnut display case. If you kept the case, it comes with a certificate of authenticity and the number of your box.

I have no information on this set besides the fact that the pictures are the same as the trio from last year. Only the border is different. A couple of months ago I discovered another version of the stickers, who came out of Norway, This variation has a blank back.

This card was fan-made and numbered to 175. On the back, he said that "when Pavel's career is over, history will never repeat itself!!!". Well, I'm sure that Canucks fans are pretty happy with the like of Elias Pettersson and Brock Boeser!

Panini stickers were one of the earliest moments of my collecting life. I remembered the convenience store near my parent's house had packs of stickers. My goal was to fill the entire album and complete the set.

I also have memories of writing a letter to the company with my doubles for a possible trade and believe it or not they delivered! My set was complete! But the French version is, today, very hard to find, and sometimes prices are ridiculous. It took me a while to find the trio.

Pavel Bure Fan Club

1992-93 Pavel Bure Fan Club
Yes, Pavel Bure had a fan club! It was based in Vancouver and had a membership base, membership fees, newsletters, and gatherings. The first one held in 1992. The last entry of the daily news dates back to February 2014. Among things you can have with a yearly membership, you can get patches, photos, and of course, custom hockey cards. This one is the first of the series.

The site is still operating. You can take a look at this address: www.http://www.pbfc.org/.

These two came from the April 1993 Pocket Pages Card Show Guide.  The first one was issued in the magazine, while the other, name "Free Sample", was used in subscription drives. Even though Pocket Page surfaced from time to time, the "Free Sample" is harder to come by.

I have very little information about these two cards. They are from Russia and are unnumbered, probably because they are not coming from a set in particular. They look like promotional cards or something like that. If you have some info on these two, feel free to e-mail me!

This set of Tri-Globe consists of 12 Russian players who were in the NHL by the time the series came in. The production is 50 000 sets. Each player has two cards.

1992-93 Russian Wind Auto #NNO
The "Russian Wind" was limited to 16 150 copies. It was produced to commemorate the 50th goal of Bure in the 1992-93 season. They gave this card on March 18th 1993, the first home game after scoring his 50th, because he reached this mark on the road. Bure became the first Canucks to score 50 goals in a season. A limited signed version also existed. This one was tough to find!

I'm happy to have the Season Patch in his original package. I just learned per Beckett that it exists two versions: the English and bilingual French. Fun fact: number 22 on the set belongs to ex-NHL star and Seasons President Grant Mulvay. He only gave his patches in person and cannot be purchased by the public.

Seven-Eleven Phone Card

1992-93 Super Stars Heroes FX #NNO
1992-93 Super Stars Heroes Promo #NNO
Super Stars Heroes was a magazine that only lived for two issues: the prototype and the Vol 1, No 1 in spring 1992. This card declines in 4 variations: the regular, the gold foil stamped name strip, the FX, and the promo.

The gold foil stamped shared the same back as the regular, but the photo is different and came at a rate of one in twenty. The FX version has a sparkling border and the promo version has the word "promo" written on the back.
