|
1995-96 Bashan Imperial Stickers Die-Cut Superstars #14
|
Bashan Stickers starts this year with a set of 136 stickers, with a die-cut version. Nothing much to say here.
Canada POGS
1995-96 Canada POGS #21
|
1995-96 Canada POGS #274
|
I thought I completed this set a long time ago. Bure appeared two times in the 296 POGS set. But while going through my box, I realized that I missed one. Love the fact that the company guessed right on its prediction of Bure going to the Hall of Fame, which he did in 2012.
Canucks
1995-96 Canucks #10
Like the Road Trip issue, the Building The Dream is a bit disturbing. All the players wore construction clothes and made the pose for this set. The sponsor for this set is Abalene.
German DEL
1995-96 German DEL #442
During the lockout, Bure played only one game in the German DEL league, scoring three goals for Landshut EV. He also played for the Moscow Spartak for one game, putting two nets. So it's somewhat nice to have one card of him in that Deutsche uniform! But it took me a while to grab one. This copie is only one of the two I saw resurfacing since my comeback into the hobby.
Hoyle Playing Cards
1995-96 Hoyle Western Playing Cards #AD
This one comes from a playing cards deck. Bure was attributed the ace of Diamonds.

1995-96 Image Clear Excitement #CE10
|
1995-96 Image Platinum Players #PL1
|
Classic Image doesn't have an NHL license, so the set is, in my opinion, pretty lame. Bure is in two of the base set, which has a gold variation. The production was 1995 cases of 12 boxes. The Platinum players insert is numbered to 1995 and was at a rate of one per 36 packs. However, the Clear Excitement was another story. Only found in Hot boxes, where each pack has 3 of the five insert sets, the chance of finding one was in 1152 pack! They are numbered to 350 sets.
Kenner Starting Lineup
1995-96 Kenner Starting Lineup #4
For this new set of Kenner, the company uses Fleer as its producer.
Kraft
1995-96 Kraft #77
Like the earlier sets, Kraft can be found in its lineup of products: Jell-O Pudding, Jell-O Gelatin, Peanut Butter, and Kraft Dinner.
Legends
1995-96 Legends
I discovered this card a month ago (september 2021). This is from a magazine called Legends, with others all-stars athletes at the time.
McDonald's
1995-96 McDonald's #McD08
Pinnacle was the brand in charge of the McDonald's set that year, after a couple of years with Upper Deck. The 3-D cards were LIT at that time. I was flabbergasted to see that design at that time!
NHL Aces Playing Cards
1995-96 NHL Aces Playing Cards #9D
It was a playing cards deck with hockey players on it. Bure is a 9 of Diamonds.
NHL Cool Trade
1995-96 NHL Cool Trade #10
|
1995-96 NHL Cool Trade Redemption #10
|
The NHL Cool Trade was a partnership between the NHL, the NHLPA, and five hockey card manufacturers. Each brand (Bowman, Donruss Elite, Summit, Ultra Series 2, and Upper Deck Series 2) made 4 cards to put them in their set. Each card has a redemption, which can be mail.
NHLPA Phone Card
1995-96 NHLPA Phone Card #NNO
This is a phone card worth 15$. They are limited to 3000 copies.
Panini Stickers
1995-96 Panini Stickers #293
It's just a sticker. Plain and simple!
Pavel Bure Fan Club
1995-96 Pavel Bure Fan Club #NNO
This is the 4th year of the Pavel Bure Fan Club.
Pinnacle FANtasy
1995-96 Pinnacle FANfest #12
This set was a promotional item at the 1996 All-Stars FanFest in Boston. Pinnacle distributed the rest after the weekend at sports conventions.
Playoff One on One Challenge
1995-96 Playoff One on One Challenge #100
|
1995-96 Playoff One on One Challenge #207
|
1995-96 Playoff One on One Challenge #316
Playoff One on One Challenge seems like a cool game to play. Unfortunately, I bought only 5-6 booster packs when I was a kid, so I didn't have enough cards to test it. Bure was in three of the four levels of the game: common, uncommon, and ultra-rare.
Pro Magnets
1995-96 Pro Magnets #21
The Pro Magnets come from Chris Martin Entreprises (not the Coldplay singer). It's a magnet the size of a hockey card. I heard that Bure has a promo version, but nothing is confirmed.
Swedish World Championships
1995-96 Swedish World Championships #174
|
1995-96 Swedish World Championships Stickers #281
|
1995-96 Swedish World Championship Stickers
This Swedish set was produced by Semic. It was to commemorate the 1995 World Championships. It was from players of the present and past editions. The stickers were discovered way later.
